Pa Metua Super Gold Club

The Pa Metua Super Gold Club meet every Tuesday, 10.00am in the oneCOMMUNITY Shed at 287 Kirkbride Road, Mangere.

It was created to provide a safe space for Pa Metua (Cook Islands elders) to gather, meet new and old friends, share a meal, enjoy outings, and thrive in their creativity. For more information, contact Tangi Mataroa at tangi@cidanz.co.nz.

Cook Islands Ta'okotai'anga Vainetini Collective NZ

The Cook Islands Ta'okotai'anga Vainetini Collective NZ meet every Friday at 10.00am in the oneCOMMUNITY Shed.

.It first began as an amalgamation of several vainteini groups across Auckland. Overtime, the group grew into their own, taking on community projects and events that have turned a community group into a social enterprise.

'Are Taunga

Officially launched as part of CILW 2020, Are Taunga was launched as a proposed structure to oversee the development of a holistic approach to reviving Cook Islands Language in Aotearoa.

Its focus is adult language education, developing an accessible system to store current Cook Islands words, including content creation, and passing on cultural traditions.

Te Vai Ora Kreativ

Te Vai Ora Kreativ was established as a way for māpu to utilise their digital and creative skills to create Cook Islands content.

TVOK has taken on projects for Pink Shirt Day, Mental Health Week and Cook Islands Language Week. At present TVOK is producing Early Learning and activity books to support the language learning of our communities.

Cook Islands ANZAC Commemoration Service

Anzac Day marks the anniversary of the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand forces during the First World War. 500 Cook Islanders enlisted to serve in the New Zealand armed forces during World War I. On behalf of the Cook Islands Consulate Office and the Auckland Cook Islands ANZAC committee, we warmly invite you to attend the commemoration for these 500 soldiers: Date: Thursday 25 April 2024 Time: 2.00pm Venue: CIDANZ Office, 287 Kirkbride Road, Mangere.
